NAIFA Congressional Appointments

Congressional Attendee Organizer Submission Form

Each state will need to delegate one individual to serve as the CAO for the 2025 Congressional Conference.  Please complete the form to the right with your selected NAIFA leader. Please submit the CAO form by COB on March 31, 2025.

The role of the CAO is to ensure that everyone attending from their state understands how the Congressional Conference operates:
  • Lead the breakout session during the May "know before you go" webinars.
  • Facilitating introductions (virtually or in-person) between members of their state attending the same meetings.
  • Coach new NAIFA members or members new to advocacy on best practices for representing themselves and their clients before elected officials.
  • Coordinate with NAIFA government relations staff to assign attendees to moderate/lead meetings with elected officials, with particular emphasis on assigning leads comfortable spotlighting new or inexperienced advocates so that they may develop relationships with their representatives.
  • Ensure that all members attending meetings on the Hill have read and understand the talking points & issue briefs provided by NAIFA Government Relations.
  • Make sure everyone from your state delegation has completed the Financial Security Advocate Academy & has downloaded the AdvocacyDay App prior to arriving at conference.

Your grassroots work on behalf of your business, clients, and community makes a world of difference. NAIFA is the leading advocacy association for insurance and financial professionals, and the Congressional Conference is our signature grassroots event.
