Members of NAIFA-VA gathered in Richmond in early February for the chapter's Legislative Day. Attendees met with state lawmakers to discuss the many ways insurance and financial professionals help Virginians achieve their financial goals. They also received debriefings from the NAIFA state lobbyist and fellow members.
State legislative days are an exciting and convenient way for NAIFA members to get involved with advocacy and make a difference for their businesses, industry, clients, and communities. They are an important part of NAIFA's grassroots strategy, along with NAIFA's Congressional Conference, summer in-district meetings, and the National Leadership Conference Day on the Hill. Chapter legislative days are vital to assuring that NAIFA's advocacy is influential and impactful at the state level.
