On behalf of the entire NAIFA family, I am pleased to congratulate NAIFA’s Senior Vice President for Government Relations Diane Boyle, who has been recognized as a Top Association Lobbyist for 2024 by The Hill, a prestigious newspaper covering federal politics.
There are many reasons NAIFA is the most influential political advocate for insurance and financial professionals in the United States. First and foremost is the dedication of our members, who live, work, and serve families and businesses in every congressional district. They are the leading grassroots force in our industry, not just at the federal level but also in every state capital. I cannot say enough about NAIFA members’ passion for advocacy, support of IFAPAC, and ability to build relationships with policymakers. They show up when it matters to work for positive advocacy outcomes for their colleagues, clients, and communities.
But often flying under the radar is our professional government relations staff, led by Diane. She and her team work tirelessly to advance NAIFA’s advocacy mission. They reinforce NAIFA members’ grassroots message with members of Congress, state lawmakers, and regulators. They provide the tools, resources, and knowledge NAIFA members need to be successful citizen-advocates including the Financial Security Advocate Academy. Diane and her team are the driving force behind the Congressional Conference, additional Washington, D.C., fly-ins, summer in-district meetings, NAIFA advocacy webinars, and other programs that make NAIFA’s advocacy second-to-none.
Diane is also well-known on Capitol Hill. When she talks, policymakers listen. This honor given by The Hill reflects on her effectiveness and professionalism as well as the great work done by her entire team. With consequential debates on issues ranging from tax reform to potential SECURE 3.0 retirement legislation coming in 2025, it’s comforting to know that Diane is on the job. NAIFA members and the entire industry can be certain that, as always, NAIFA has your back.
